Reprocessing Report #4, July 2026: The Month Jita Learned to Repeat Itself

July 2026 reprocessing report: 6.4B ISK across 1,083 flagged trades, a 1B armor-hardener dump in Jita, and one Hek structure mispriced for 15 days straight.

In the May report I described Jita reprocessing as "a hundred small, unrelated cracks that open and close," a lottery you watch rather than a routine you run. Amarr was the opposite, a fixed watchlist of the same mispriced modules week after week.

July swapped the two personalities. It also happened to be the biggest month this series has seen: 1,083 flagged trades worth about 6.4 billion ISK in recoverable spread across the five hubs.

The scoreboard

Hub Flags Distinct items Total profit Median trade
Jita 4-4 608 193 ~4.42B 2.2M
Hek VIII 100 26 ~746M 2.0M
Amarr VIII 239 86 ~674M 1.6M
Dodixie IX 69 49 ~430M 2.0M
Rens VI 56 12 ~140M 1.6M

Jita went from 290 flags in June to 608, more than the other four hubs put together. Dodixie collapsed from 222 flags to 69. And tiny Hek out-earned Amarr, which deserves an explanation, because a hub with 100 flags beating one with 239 is not normal. We'll get there.

Jita learned to repeat itself

Remember the structural number from last month (the share of profit from items flagged three or more times)? In June, Jita's was 18%, the lowest of any hub. In July it hit 62%. Jita spent a month behaving like Amarr, and one family of modules did most of the work.

Meta armor hardeners. The Prototype Compact and Experimental Enduring variants — Explosive, Kinetic, Thermal — flagged 149 times for a combined 1.07B ISK. Buy around 260–370K, reprocess into 305–420K worth of minerals, and the book refills before the next scan cycle. That went on all month. Add the 425mm 'Scout' Accelerator Cannon (32 flags, 183M) and the Large S95a Scoped Remote Shield Booster (15 flags, 309M — and unlike most of this list the S95a trades over a thousand units a day, so the output actually moves), and Jita suddenly had lanes. Plural.

My guess at the cause: some group ran an enormous amount of combat content in The Forge this month. The flag pattern looks like loot dumping at industrial scale, the same meta modules landing on the cheap side of the book faster than reprocessors could eat them. Whoever they are, they fed Jita for four straight weeks.

Item Hub Flags Total profit Avg buy Reprocessed value
Medium Ship Assembly Array Hek 36 ~616.6M 50.0M 64.0M

Two days need calling out separately. July 6 was the single biggest day this series has recorded: 87 flags, just over a billion ISK, almost all of it hardeners. Three separate hardener variants each cleared 80M that day on their own. July 16 was the opposite shape. Only 16 flags, but 638M, because the big-ticket stuff all landed at once: the S95a's best day at 223M, a single flag on a stack of 92 Large Hybrid Collision Accelerator IIs (219M of spread, though taking the whole stack meant fronting about 3.5B), and a Capital Hybrid Ambit Extension for 109M.

The fifteen-day mistake

Last month I flagged Hek's Medium Ship Assembly Array, listed at a flat 50M against roughly 60M of minerals and re-flagging every six-hour cycle from June 24 onward. It didn't stop at the month boundary. It ran nine more days, 36 more flags, another 616M of spread, and then on July 9 it vanished and never came back.

All told: 62 consecutive flags over fifteen and a half days, roughly 878M ISK of recoverable spread, one item, one station. Someone kept restocking a sell order 20% under mineral value for two weeks straight. That single mistake made Hek July's second hub, with 83% of the station's monthly total coming from that one line. When it died, Hek's numbers died with it. You'll see the wreckage in the August report.

The lesson, I think: the best reprocessing money isn't the clever find, it's the mispricing that sticks around. And catching things that stick around is precisely what scanners are for.

Amarr cooled, the watchlist evolved

Amarr's total fell to 674M, but the repeaters kept repeating, with substitutions. The 'Concussion' smartbomb went 5, 10, 20 flags across May, June, July — three months running as the most dependable single item in the region. The plate lane changed caliber: May's 1600mm Restrained Plates faded while the 800mm Crystalline Carbonide (28 flags) and 800mm Rolled Tungsten (10 flags) took over. New names this month: the Limited Jump Drive Economizer, 12 flags at a chunky 4.9M buy-in each, and three Cynosural Generator Arrays bought around 20M against 37M of materials.

Dodixie went the other way entirely, 87% of its profit from one-off flags. And the Rens grappler factory slowed to about half structural after June's 70%. The pipelines didn't disappear, they just moved around.

What we threw out

New section, and it's staying. This month the scanner produced a handful of flags that were technically in the data and obviously not real money, and I'd rather show you the trash than quietly pretend it wasn't there.

Five July flags claiming a combined ~5.4B ISK got cut: an Unrefined Vanadium Hafnite flag claiming 2.5B at a 1,651% margin on a market with zero traded volume; a Thorax that supposedly refined into 780M, which would be a 37,000% margin on a 2M cruiser and is not how cruisers work; and three flags on Synth boosters, which the game won't let you reprocess at all. The static game data ships phantom material yields for a few item classes, and one weird order on the pricing side does the rest.

So here's the rule we now apply, and honestly the rule you should apply to anyone's market numbers: a four-digit margin against a market with no volume is an artifact, not a trade. Everything else in this report survived that filter.

How to read these numbers

The usual disclaimers, unchanged. Values assume standard yield and tax rather than your skills and standings. Big single flags assume you can buy the stack and sell the output without moving the market, and at 92 collision accelerators you are the market. The scanner logs anything clearing 1M of spread; even July's flattest day came to 25M across the hubs.

Next month: the market gets quieter and stranger. Mispriced ore everywhere, capital hardware listed at exactly 1 ISK, and the scanner's most embarrassing day since we switched it on.
