Each opportunity is calculated by taking the item's current market buy price, applying the station's reprocessing yield (base 50%) boosted by your Scrapmetal Processing skill level, deducting reprocessing tax, and comparing the resulting mineral/material mix against current sell prices — all minus sales tax and broker fees. Combined potential profit across hubs: 14.9M. The most profitable hub is Amarr VIII with 8.4M. All prices refresh every 5 minutes from ESI market data.
The single strongest melt right now is 1400mm Carbine Howitzer I at 2.3M net per batch (3.2% margin), and 73 items across all hubs clear a 20% margin. Deep-margin melts like these usually come from mispriced player listings, so they vanish as soon as someone else runs the same scan — treat the top of this table as first-come, first-served.

Some EVE Online items are worth more as reprocessed minerals than at their current market price. ISK Scout's reprocessing analyzer compares the buy cost of every reprocessable item against the sell value of its mineral output — surfacing only items with immediate arbitrage. Station yields are configurable: NPC station 50%, high-sec citadel, null-sec citadel, etc. Skill levels for Reprocessing, Reprocessing Efficiency, and Scrapmetal Processing automatically adjust the actual mineral output. Tax and fees apply from your character's skills, so the displayed profit reflects what you'll actually pocket. Data refreshes every 5 minutes from major hubs including Jita.

Every item with a published reprocessing recipe in the Static Data Export is evaluated against real-time ESI market data. The effective yield is station_yield × (1 + 0.02 × Scrapmetal_level), which means perfect skills deliver 55% yield at an NPC station with 50% base. The engine multiplies this yield by the recipe's base material output, caps at current sell orders at the chosen hub, then subtracts reprocessing tax (5% default at NPC stations) and a configurable sales tax + broker fee. Items where the resulting mineral stack exceeds the buy cost are listed as profitable. Historical market volume determines how quickly the position can realistically clear.

- Reprocessing (+3%/level, all materials), Reprocessing Efficiency (+2%/level, all materials), and Scrapmetal Processing (+2%/level, modules and ammo only). If you're focused on module/ammo reprocessing, Scrapmetal Processing V is the highest-leverage skill to train first.
- What does 50% station yield mean?
- The base reprocessing efficiency at NPC stations. Process 100 units of ore, get back 50 units of refined minerals. High-sec citadels usually offer 50–52%, low-sec NPC stations 50%, null-sec citadels up to 56%.
- Which item types are usually profitable to reprocess?
- T1 modules, ships, and ammo frequently exceed their market price as recovered minerals. T2 modules vary based on small morphite (T2 byproduct) yields. Ore prices fluctuate daily with mining activity.
