Terms of Service

By using ISK Scout you agree to these terms. ISK Scout is a free third-party tool for EVE Online players, operated by an individual developer (Intelli H). It is not affiliated with or endorsed by CCP hf.

1. Service description

ISK Scout reads EVE Online market data through CCP's official ESI API and surfaces arbitrage routes, courier contracts, reprocessing yields, and manufacturing margins. Logged-in users get personalized dashboards based on their characters' wallets, orders, and skills. The service is provided free of charge and may include advertisements.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (US/Korea) or 16 (EU) to use ISK Scout.
• You must have a valid EVE Online account to use logged-in features.
• You must comply with CCP's EVE EULA and ESI License Agreement.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Scrape, mass-download, or automate access to ISK Scout beyond ordinary browser usage. Our server-side rate limits (10/20/30 req/min thresholds) are enforced and exceeding them will throttle or block you.
• Reverse engineer, attempt to extract source code beyond what is publicly available, or probe for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
• Misrepresent your identity, impersonate another EVE player, or use someone else's EVE SSO account.
• Use the service to violate EVE Online's EULA, including bot/macro trading or RMT facilitation.
• Click your own ads or otherwise generate invalid AdSense traffic on this site.
• Distribute, mirror, or republish ISK Scout's data as your own product.

4. Account, login, and termination

You can log out, unlink Discord, and revoke EVE SSO at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or pose risk to other users. We will email you (when possible) before termination unless the breach is severe (rate-limit abuse, attempted exploitation, etc).

5. Data accuracy disclaimer

ISK Scout displays market data refreshed every 5 minutes — the same cache window CCP uses. Market conditions change in real time, and we cannot guarantee that any displayed price, route, or profit estimate will still be accurate when you act on it. All trades, contracts, manufacturing jobs, and reprocessing decisions you execute in EVE Online are entirely your responsibility. ISK Scout is a research tool, not financial advice.

We are not liable for any in-game ISK losses, ship losses, or other in-game consequences resulting from decisions informed by this tool.

6. Service availability

We provide ISK Scout on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis with no uptime guarantee. Maintenance, ESI outages, infrastructure failures, or upstream issues at CCP/Cloudflare/Google may cause downtime. We do not promise that the service will meet your requirements or be free of errors.

7. Advertising

ISK Scout may display ads via Google AdSense or similar networks to fund operations. Ads are shown only on public pages, never on dashboards or pages that contain your personal data. We do not endorse the content of any ad shown. If you find an ad inappropriate, please report it to us with a screenshot.

8. Intellectual property

EVE Online, the EVE logo, and all related artwork, characters, ships, storylines, and world facts are the intellectual property of CCP hf. ISK Scout's own code, layout, and original content are owned by the operator. "Fair use" applies for in-game data displayed under CCP's developer agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's aggregate liability arising out of or related to these terms or your use of ISK Scout is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim — which is zero, since the service is free. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via the in-app banner for at least 14 days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the operator's domicile, except where local consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction.
